Teaching Experience

After thirteen years of professional teaching in New York City, Yuliya currently teaches classes and private lessons in New York City. Former teaching experience includes  8 years as a dance instructor at Stepping Out Dance Studio and nine years of teaching Latin and Ballroom dance as an  amateur in the Soviet Union and Poland.

International Latin [Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso-Doble and Jive]
International Ballroom [Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, and Quick Step]
Merengue, Hustle, Swing, Lindy, Jitterbug and Bolero and Argentine Tango

Competition, Performance, and Choreography Experience
A professional competitor in International Latin for the last eight years in the USA, Yuliya also competed as an amateur in Latin and Ballroom in  the Soviet Union and Poland for nine years.  Originally from the Ukraine she is a current  member of the National Dance Council of America.
Additionally, Yuliya has experience judging dance competitions, most recently ones sponsored by New York University and the U.S. Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association.

Performances in NYC metro region include appearances as a featured dancer and instructor at Lincoln Center’s annual Mid Summer Night Swing festival and on TV programs such as "Good Morning America" and "All My Children".

Yuliya as a model in advertisements run in, ADWEEK, Industry Standard and Fortune Magazine (April 3, 2000).

Yuliya has choreographed for formation teams and dance companies based in the New York..
