Was it a dream? As you stood Framed in the aura Of a shimmering sea Your figure glistened On the silvery rock A rare nymph Of the mystic sea On a pedestal of glory Outlined on a golden disc Moon looking at the moon Little stars danced In your large luminous eyes And lit up my being With joyous rapture No visions can capture Hand in hand we stood Words were too loud For the pulse-songs We chase each other Like fond waves Rushing to kiss the moon Panting we lay Face to face Our bodies wet with spray Till lost in a haze We explored Moments of joy |
And the stars jaded Into grey dawn Of our last night together. Our beings were there In our body imprints On the white sand Tears filled your eyes Those pearls of love Lit up your face With a pensive light Silently you kissed me goodbye Never to come back again. My being is transported To the shores of remembrance And I keep awake In endless vigils To see that great vision Change into beauty again In some mystic way As once was changed Into a vision For that moment of destiny I shall wait a thousand lives Till we meet In a world Where the moon never sets And there is no goodbye. |
